At Glow Up Tan, we want you to shop with confidence. This policy outlines our approach to returns, refunds, and warranty claims for tanning products and supplies, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Returns Policy

Approval Required

All returns must be approved by Glow Up Tan prior to being sent back. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

Returns Process

Before returning any item, please:

  • Contact us at support@glowuptan.com.au
  • Complete a returns request and obtain approval
  • Retain your original order confirmation, invoice, or receipt

Inspection Timeframe

All items must be inspected upon delivery. Any issues, including transit damage, incorrect items, or missing products, must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Condition of Returns

Approved returns must be:

  • Unopened
  • Unused
  • In original packaging

Items that have been opened or used cannot be returned unless they are deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Return Timeframe

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery, excluding warranty related claims.

Return Shipping

For non faulty items, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as Glow Up Tan is not responsible for items lost in return transit.

Warranty Policy for Tanning Products

Warranty Coverage

All Glow Up Tan tanning products and supplies are covered by a 12 month warranty when unopened, commencing from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects only.

Once a tanning product has been opened or used, warranty coverage is limited to faults that are present at the time of opening and reported immediately.

Shelf Life and Product Care

Tanning solutions and consumable products are perishable by nature and must be stored and used in accordance with recommended guidelines. Warranty does not cover:

  • Product degradation due to incorrect storage
  • Use beyond recommended timeframes
  • Normal changes in colour, texture, or scent associated with product age

Reporting a Fault or Issue

All faults, damages, missing items, or concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

To submit a claim, please email support@glowuptan.com.au and include:

  • Your order number
  • Product name
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos where applicable

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.

Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Change of mind on opened products
  • Misuse or improper handling
  • Incorrect storage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by heat, sunlight, moisture, or contamination
  • Products used beyond their recommended usage period

Refunds and Replacements

If a product is deemed faulty in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Glow Up Tan will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
